That Same Western Romance Thrill of Excitement
"Let me walk you back to your aunt's house." he said. She took the hand
offered and felt that same thrill of excitement that she had felt at the waterhole.
She told herself that it was a long time since she had held a man's hand
and did not notice that Nick had felt something as well.

This Girl Was So Close And So Attractive
Nick found that suddenly he was curling one of those wayward strands of hair
between his fingers. It seemed that his hands had made the decision themselves.
This girl was so close and so attractive that for the first time in a very long while
Nick Carson was not as cool and in control as he liked to be. He kissed her

This book has the potential to be a full length novel. If it had been, it would have developed it's characters and story more fully. I liked the attraction between Wendy and Hank, however I had issues with the insta-marriage. They hardly interacted so it seemed sort of bizarre when Hank made that proposal.I didn't really know who "Hank" was as a person. Wendy definitely was more well rounded and fleshed out as a character. I really loved her sweet nature and her magic with horses. I also loved the plot and how the horse ghost stories led to one's death. I really would have liked to learn more about the other characters.
I really wish the author had actually had character's speak to one another without narrating and providing "summaries" of these talks.
Other than that it was well written, sweet, and enjoyable.

This is a very sweet love story. Kind of short. But really cute. I enjoyed this would like it to continue.
I had a problem because when I was younger I worked as a cook on a working ranch in Arizona. One never uses a stallion to work cattle or stock of any kind with. Geldings or mares, yes. That put me off. The writing was good but that I kinda of fizzled when I encountered that.
